WELCOME TO MY PAGE

Many Reason I can put to describe why having this blog....., but honestly is because I like to share what I know from the experience I had.

It is easy for anybody to click and search the recipes or pictures you wish to see and try.

Get in touch with me by email if you have any question about the recipe feature here or let me know if I might be able to help to look or find out any recipe you have in mind.

Normally I challenge myself with any recipes before I put it here. It is good for me to do that so I can say if the recipe is easy or difficult to do and to prove that the food is YUMMY to my standard.

Basically if I can do it so CAN you.

I also write very strong opinion regarding places or some restaurant and foods they serve in term of quality and value for money. This, you will find it different with your own opinion.

The comments about foods or places or restaurants is not for everyone to agree, but it is to help to open your mind to try and challenge yourself and be willing to be your own food critics.

Give yourself a go taste some food then see if you have some opinion then try recipes, restaurant, bars, cafe's etc decide for yourself which one is your favourite.

Hope you like it.

AYAM PENYET PRESIDENT @ LUCKY PLAZA SINGAPORE

At first I do not know where to find good Indonesian restaurant / cafe's but after being introduce by a friend who previously from UK ( S ) to her friend who live in Singapore I then got the chance to meet up not just with S but also with her friend who already lived in Singapore for a while by then.

One day I made myself free to go out and about with them all and lucky enough that they show me this nice Indonesian restaurant called Ayam Penyet President which is still there now at Lucky Plaza level 3.
To compare this with other ayam penyet is out of order for my own opinion, as it is very good in term of food, friendly customer service and good cleanliness and I will not be able to say any other place as good as this ayam penyet does.

The menu are variable, from salads, chicken dish, beef dish, and snacks too. Drinks choices are good. Many to choose and sometimes made me confuse as I like them all but difficult to decide which one to have on the day I visit. Choice............ Choice.............Choice............... but all lovely.

I try different food everytime I went there for my lunch or just for snacking.
From ayam penyet, a dish of crispy chiken previously marinated in herbs and deep fried then serve with own crispy scraps ( marinated liquid mixed with flour then deep fried to make crunchy scraps ), not to forget the tofu and tempe on the plate too and all that come with hot white rice.
Crispness you can feel, you can also taste the herb all in one. The spiciness of the home made sambal goes together and perfectly with this dish. I would go to this place again and again.

Excellent customer service as their friendly and will recognise you as a regular customer when you visit the place very often. Impressive.
I have tried many ayam penyet in Singapore and so far President is the place I would recommend to many people.
As and independent blogger I am not obliged to say one thing or the other. I feel like it is good if I can pass on my opinion of a restaurant, bar or any other eating place to all foodies.

Dont' forget Chicken satay is also in their menu. If you don't feel hungry enough you can always have this and accompany by coconut drink which will wash down your food nicely.
Satay grilled perfectly, not over cook which can mean will make the meat dry and tough to bite. The consistent of their cooking time is the one made me admire their effort to keep their quality high. You might not see this but it is important for me to be able to decide to come back to this place again and again.
Satay serve with chillied sweet soy and shallots too, good combination on plate and goes down nicely in my tummy..............yum.

Karedok is sundanesse salad which I love a lot. The sauce on this is almost like gado gado, different are daun kemangi and kencur added to this. Not many places get it right when making this as sometimes when too much kencur put in then the flavour too strong and you have to keep adding other ingredients to make it right again.
President has it right.
Chendol also a good dessert drink you should try. Give you Full of energy as it is made of gula jawa and all contain natural stuff.

Serving time is reasonably not long time to wait, well for me this is acceptable as sometime I had to look at the timing I went in or how many dish I order, whether it is actually pre made half cook previously or freshly made also have to consider this too.
I know what I am saying because I am a customer who will look at all angle when visiting a restaurant.

Enough said, why not give yourself a try and visit this place. If you have different opinion please let me know perhaps we can discuss what actually we expect from them in future.
Our opinion is matter a lot for them to get more and more customer.
